MyZenfone 8 has been sitting in my room as a paper weight for more than a month since it failed on me, haven't had the time to send it in. Personally, after reverting back to my old S10e, the difference really isn't that big, if you have a phone that is decently new (2 years old or less), I don't think it's worth it.

Itseems the first 80 % of the brightness slider is almost the same, I have to fiddle the slider between 80 % and 100 % to match my other phones (80 % on my Zenfone equals 50 % on my Edge 30 Fusion). Volume levels from the 3.5mm jack is low and weak. Connecting my Bose NC 700 with cable, I have to turn the volume to max.
ZF9is definitely more compact and handy, ideal for 1 handed use. Pixel 7 is wider and heavier. Pixel 7 has the edge when it comes to camera. Though I will say that ZF9 isn't as bad as some of the comments online. (even with the stock Asus camera app)
